City of Woodson Terrace Missouri

FROM THE CITY CLERK

Happy New Year to everyone!  I trust everyone had very safe and happy holidays.  Spring and summer will be upon us before we know it!

Just a few reminders for the upcoming months… Dog tags are due in May of each year.  This is required by ordinance and you can receive a fine if you don’t.  The cost of the tag as opposed to the cost of the fine is significant.  Un-spayed females are $3.00 and spayed females and males are $1.00.  Only two domesticated animals allowed per household (this does not include birds, fish, hamsters etc.).  Please keep your pets in your own yard and if you take them for a walk, on a leash.  We also have the “clean-up” ordinance requiring you to clean up after your animals while walking them and also IN YOUR OWN YARD.  During our hot months of summer an unclean yard become a very unpleasant odor to your neighbors; let’s remember to be respectful to them.

If you wish to use a pavilion, please contact city hall as we are already becoming booked up for certain months.  Please remember that the pavilions are for the use of our residents and they must attend the function they book and are responsible for the condition the pavilion is left in.  No charge to use but we do ask for a $100.00 damage deposit.  This must be in the form of a check.  It is refundable as long as your pavilion was cleaned and there was no damage.

All city meetings are open to the public and we encourage resident participation at these meetings.  Times and dates of these meetings are posted on the calendar section.

As always, the staff at city hall is here to assist you in any way we can.
